LUMOR is an acclaimed Stockholm based performing arts company, recognized as one of Sweden’s most interesting producers of new drama and contemporary theatre, awarded The Swedish Association of Theatre Critics’ Prize.
LUMOR’s ARTISTIC DIRECTORS Paula Stenström Öhman and Oskar Thunberg have alongside the company’s success been awarded multiple times and work recurrently with a core group of highly reputed performing artists. Together they have developed an aesthetic and rapport unique within the performing art scene.
LUMOR collaborates with a wide network of esteemed theatres all over Sweden, with partners as The Royal Dramatic Theatre and Stockholm City Theatre, and has repeatedly been selected to the National Swedish Performing Arts Biennale. LUMOR is touring regularly nationally and has previously been performing internationally with great reception. LUMOR is currently selected to The Bergman Week and is embarking on further national and international appearances 2024/2025.

LUMOR received Kurt Nylander’s Performing Arts Award 2019 and The Swedish Association of Theatre Critics’ Award 2021. LUMOR’s productions got selected to Swedstage 2015 and 2018, The Swedish ITI’s New Nordic Drama 2016, Tampere Theatre Festival 2017, The National Swedish Biennale for Performing Arts 2015, 2017, 2019, 2022, Heidelberger Stückemarkt 2023 and The Bergman Week 2024.
PAULA STENSTRÖM ÖHMAN is a playwright and director awarded several times, including The City of Stockholm’s Culture Prize, The Swedish Ibsen Award, The Writers Guild of Sweden’s Henning Mankell Playwright Award, The Swedish Authors’ Fund Playwright Grant, The Swedish Academy’s Carl Åkermark Scholarship, Ise Morssing’s Award by The Swedish Union for Performing Arts and Film, and The Royal Dramatic Theatre and Daniel Sash’s Playwright Prize. OSKAR THUNBERG is an actor, director and playwright and has been awarded Carl Åkermark’s Performing Arts Scholarship by The Swedish Academy and his play Oxytocin got The Swedish Association of Theatre Critics’ Children & Youth Award.
